This form should be used when making a proposal to add a character or characters to the SIL Private Use Area (PUA). All relevant information should be filled in. Submit one compressed (zipped) file containing scanned image files of examples. The zipped file should include: 1) Annotated scanned images (e.g. colored circles identifying the character) of each character in context. Realize that we may need to come back to you for higher resolution scans if/when we make a Unicode proposal. 2) Fonts containing the character(s) being proposed. 3) This form. The zipped file should be sent to the SIL PUA Committee chair through the web form found below.
An example zip file is provided here for you to see how to fill in the form. This zip file also contains a copy of the above Submission Form.
