NRSI: Computers & Writing Systems You are here: Type Design > Resources > Font Downloads Special Interest Derivative Unicode Fonts
These fonts are based on SIL fonts (currently only Charis SIL and Doulos SIL). They have been modified for use with a specific purpose or in a specific region (using SIL TypeTuner) with default glyphs which are used in that part of the world. As these fonts are based on other fonts, you will need to go to the website for the original fonts if you need the documentation (Charis SIL and Doulos SIL). Note These fonts were created by SIL TypeTuner, and they cannot be TypeTuned again. Warning Any of our Roman fonts that have had the linespacing changed to a tighter setting could potentially have "clipping" of diacritics if there is more than one diacritic above a tall character. This is normally just a screen problem. When the page is printed, the diacritics will print. Africa AfricaMaliChanges to these fonts:
Other Mali resources include mapping files to convert from the SIL Mali standard legacy fonts to Unicode encoding and Keyman keyboards developed for use in Malian languages. AmericasChanges to these fonts:
