Question: What are the registry keys for listing specific fonts with Font Linking?

Answer: There are 9 registry keys for listing specific fonts with Font Linking:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink1 = (REG_SZ)
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink2 = (REG_SZ)
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink3 = (REG_SZ)
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink4 = (REG_SZ)
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink5 = (REG_SZ)
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonGeneralFontLink6 = (REG_SZ)

For example, for Hong Kong HKSCS characters, try:

For testing purposes, you can disable or enable font linking in Office and
font-fixup in Word using this reg key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftOffice10.0CommonLanguageResources::Disablefontlink=1

A “0” or missing key means normal operation.
